Antarctic Photos 4 – Enterprise Island & Cuverville

Enterprise Island was our first stop on the peninsula after the 100 mile crossing of the Bransfield Strait from the South Shetland Islands. In the bay of Enterprise is the rusting remains of an old whaling supply ship the Gobernador, against which we tied up. Also there was Happy Taurus II, a superyacht on which a friend of Ewan, Hamish Laird was the Ice Pilot.

Our next anchorage was off Cuverville Island that has the largest rookery of Gentoo penguins on the peninsula
