after a civilised start 1100 we depart Benodet marina carefully - having been sort of double parked.. i think they thought we were staying for the rest of the year! And we're off at 2 knots on a glorious bikinis on deck day. Originally bound for Concarneau it becomes clear that the wind is taking us elsewhere so we eventually decide to change course put up the Jennaker and make for the Illes de glenan a sort of mini Isles of Scilly about 10 miles out of Benodet. Lovely passage - children both below entertaining themselves, adults on deck enjoying the bonne vent et temps. Found our anchorage close to Penfret light house and a walk ashore for most of the family was followed by an extensive fishing trip around the bay - 1 gar, 2 mackerel and 6 or 7 pollack - so fish for supper on the barbie!

Un jour très bon.
