Friday 29th March. We left St Kitts at 08.40. A great reach in the sunshine to the Dutch Sint Maarten, where we anchored in the rather shallow Philipsburg Bay. Went ashore to check in. Again, a very smart island with lots of Duty Free stores and Beauty shops catering to the many cruise ships which arrive here, including the Windsurf yacht.

After a walk we moved the 4.7 miles round to Simpson Bay. Much less rolly here. We anchored near the bridge into the lagoon, which is lined with hurricane damaged boats. We met Caroline and Charlotte from Silhouette, who came over to visit, and invited us back for Sundowners at theirs.
