26th March. On our own again now, after a morning looking round the National museum in St Kitts- interesting but with some very disturbing displays and information on the slave trade, we left about 13.30 for the short sail to Statia.

We had planned on a visit, but the anchorage was so rolly that we didn't go ashore. After a very uncomfortable night, we left the next morning at 06.40 for St Barts.
