Left at 09.00 on Tuesday 15th May. It's cloudy and cold, but a good wind. After sailibg round the Ile de batz, because we didn't fancy the inshore passage through the rocks, we sailed on a close tack to the mouth of the L'Aber Wrac'h river where we anchored for a couple of hours to wait for the tide through the Chenal du Four.

We saw several interesting lighthouses, a few gannets swooping in lines, but few boats around. Arrived at Camaret about 21.15, still light till 22.00 here so no problem berthing in the outer marina at Port Vauban. A pretty little town, with a bit of a boat graveyard as you walk up to the promenade. Found the Super U to stock with fresh produce, and some nice big french mugs!
