Today after we had done our homework Harry and I went fishing with Julian and Dave, we where called in after half an hour as Harry and Grandad needed to go to the chandeliers and Grandma, Catrin and I we went for a walk along the front pedestrian road. Whilst Mummy and Daddy, they would go shopping in the main shopping town. We walked past a Naval base and we saw a soldier in a navy blue uniform, he was walking amongst the small and colourful cars. We walked to where all the cruise ships come in, when we where near the marina we stopped at the pool for a drink and ice cream. I showed Grandma the swimming pool cafe, from the cafe Grandma got a coffee and Catrin and I got ice creams!

 

When we where back at the boat Mummy and Daddy where all ready back at the boat, they had been to the patisserie, the clothes shops and other shops. They had brought me a protractor, ruler, a set square, three rubbers and a calculator. Soon after I had tidied these away Mummy saw Harry walking with a new rod in one hand and in the other (Daddy’s worst enemy) a Metal net, metal nets are bad because they make rusty marks on the boat.

 

After Harry and Grandad had climbed on board we had lunch. After lunch Daddy, Mummy, Harry, Catrin and I, we walked to the place where we could hire bikes. We hired four bikes three adult ones and one child’s bike, Catrin had a seat on the back of Daddy’s bike.

 

When we had hired the bikes we road of to see the flamingos. When we saw the first few their heads where all in the pink water, Daddy told me the food the flamingos eat is the pink stuff which lies at the bottom of the lake. We had to travel through certain gates, these certain gates led to different places. When we where almost at the end of the flamingo trail all the flamingos, they all had their heads up and their bottoms down! On the way back to the bike hire place Mummy saw a long black snake!

 

When we got home Harry and I went fishing with Julian and Dave, we caught a small black crab and a shrimp, we caught these with nets. We didn’t catch anything on rods or handlines though. After this we had a macaroni cheese whilst Grandma and Grandad went out to a restaurant we where meant to be going out to Silvio’s house but he had a football match and he wouldn’t be back till late so we didn’t go to his house.

 

After tea we had to untangle Harry’s fishing line and we had to bring all our fishing things in. When we had done this we cleaned our teeth and we then went to bed. It was quite hard to get to sleep as there was a very loud and noisy concert going on!
