Today on the 2nd of April we woke up at 7 o’clock in the morning and had
breakfast. Once we got ship shape we set of to Prte Roig , Mum took some photos
of Cafe del mar, a famous cafe. We then put up the Main and genoa and set sail
to Prte Roig. Whilst we were sailing we saw two different coloured fenders
floating in the sea. As we didn't know who the fenders belonged to we practised
our man over board skills. On the first go Mum steered whilst Dad hoisted the
fender aboard. The second time Dad steered whilst Mum hoisted the fender up, I
thought Mum was the best at the steering and Dad the best at the hoisting. After
we practiced our awesome man over board skills we went fishing as we were going
about four knots. We then decided we were going too slowly so we decided to put
up the genoa. And kept sailing this way for the rest of this relaxing
journey.
Once we had arrived in the bay we all had to be quiet so Mum and Dad could
concentrate. After we had anchored we decided to go to the beach in the dingy.
When we parked we weren't happy because it was rocky and that meant the bottom
of the dingy would burst on the rock but luckily a helpful man said that if we
dropped our dingy at our boat, he in his dingy would come and collect us in his
dingy. When he had collected us and dropped us of at the beach he
set of in his dingy once again. Whilst Catrin, Katie and I played on the beach
Mum and Dad relaxed on sun beds. After we had got bored of playing on the rock
beach we all had Ice-creams! When we were on our way back to the boat in the
man's dingy Dad told us about the restaurant with lobsters and other fish in a
tank.
When we got back we had our tea, chillie. After tea Catrin
watched her DVD and Katie and I played with my mine-craft lego. After we had
played our game we went straight to bed as it was eight O‘clock.
