Today on the 7th of May we woke up and wrote our blogs then had breakfast. We were going to Porto Ceruo so we pulled the anchor up from were we played cricket and were the flies were biting us all. We then set off on the sail we put up only one sail which was the jenoeu we didn’t put the main up because there was only 30 knots of wind and that made us go 9 knots. We were going 9 knots because there was two mountain ranges between Corsica and Sardinia that funnel the wind between the Bonafacio straights, the islands were called Corsica Isola La Maddalena with snow on the mountains. When we were almost there we saw a American submarine base when we saw the marina we saw a mega yacht and it was ginormous. When we got in the marina we saw a really big sailing boat boat and loads of super yachts.

 

We then were going to a beach that was next to our anchorage, we got the yellow bags out and we packed them for the beach we packed them with toys all those things. We then were loading the bags for the beach. Then we loaded the dingy with bags and our selves and we set off to the beach which was exiting

when we got, there we tipped the bag of toys out and Katie and I tried to catch fish in a bucket and Catrin made sand castles. It was really hard to catch the fish that we wanted to catch, Then I found a sea snail and put it in the bucket and Katie found a cermet crab so she did the same and then I found a emerald and I did the same. I then thought I saw a fish Hide in the sand I didn’t thought then I had an Idea, to Jump and put the bucket over the fish Katie then saw a weaver a greater weaver so Katie told Dad and we looked at it, until I thought I saw a tiny fish that had hidden under a shell so I put my bucket over It and I saw a tail coming out of the bucket when I was dragging it to the shore I realised it was a Scorpion fish we then shown some Dutch people our fish and he helped us catch fish he told us all about him and what tipe of fish he knows about.

 

We had to go back to the boat and we got changed and went in the dingy to the dingy marina. On the first one we found only fake every thing on the second one we only found one marina club so we went home and had tea on the boat instead and went to bed. Porto Cervo is a man made resort for Superyachts and only really opens between July and August for the holiday season. Even the supermarket was shut!!!
