Goo Morning
Now I have something to ask you.
Over the course ove the last two years and my
hundreds of blogs and thousands of words I have received a huge amount of
feedback from you.
I think it is fair to say that my blog writing
style took some time to evolve and perhaps eventually has become too
"wordy". All along the way for reasons I have explained several times, grammar,
spelling and general coherence has been less than perfect due to the
circumstances inj which the blogs have been written. Re reading my
blogs sometimes has been embarrassing due to the errors. All I can say
however is that normally such porly presented writing would not leave my desk.
You all seem however to have been very tolerant!
There are however a considerable number of
things I have not told you or have not been able to tell you
about on a blog. Over the two years I have not been able to give you the
very interesting insight to dealing with a dynamic and growing business while
sailing round the world. Dealing with business problems and management issues
from afar is trying but of course we have had to do it. The issues we
and particularly Trish has had to confront in terms of being
parted from our family for two years. In
fact the not inconsiderable strains placed on our own relationship during such a
voyage are challenging. Then there are all the issues of planning and finance of
such a trip during what yet may prove to be one of the greatest economic set
backs the world has seen. The actual organising and equiping ourselves and the
boat for the trip too has been something people have asked to know
more about also.
OK the question - many, many of you have suggested
that I write a book about our experiences........so
Q: DO YOU THINK I SHOULD WRITE A BOOK ABOUT OUR
ADVENTURE OVER THESE LAST TWO YEARS?
I would very much appreciate a reply about this
whether you have mentioned it or suggested it in the past or

feel free to add any comment which you feel may be relevant. Publishing a book
is no easy thing and as I understand it, writing it is only one part of the
challenge, getting published is difficult and it being successful outside the
world of my wee blog is a greater challenge still I guess.
