Rhiann Marie - Round the World

Attached are a few images of the early part of my South Atlantic passage.

First ghosting along with spinaker in light airs between the south Atlantic lows and the St Helena High pressure system...

Secondly - Sail Down!

Thirdly and as if it was no effort at all the photo shows the sail back on deck. This incident could have been terminal for me if not careful but certainly for the sail and possibly even for the mission.

Finally a shot of the plotter radar repeated onto the screen in the aft cabin of Rhiann Marie which would allow me in the open Ocean, together with alarms to get decent chunks of sleep - sometimes even two hours though one hour was more normal.
