Day 6 of the Crossing We are well past half-way now, and although we
can't yet smell the curry, its a good feeling. We carry enough fuel to
motor the remaining distance if needs be.
Both wind and currents are still favourable so we are progressing
nicely and have not used the engine so far. Perhaps the wind gods took pity on
us after the Aden to Salalah leg where we had to motor almost all the way.
Night watches are becoming a little less of a chore, particularly when
connected to an iPod. We typically see only a couple of ships during the
night as we are not on a major shipping route. |
