WRECK RECOVERY
ANCHORAGE
In years gone by a recovery crew used this anchorage when salvaging a wreck - hence the name. We pulled in here just behind, and downwind, of a very smelly fishing
boat. They string the fish up on lines. The smell of drying fish is
quite putrid!
We are now 60 miles into Sudan. Tomorrow we
expect to meet our first Sudanese people at Muhammad Col, a fishing village on
the mainland coast.
