From Larry,

The sailing has just got serious. Yesterday the wind and swell started in earnest, Overnight and this morning we had a Force 6 with 4 metre swells (so my Met expert tells me), but the sea was confused, meaning we were being tossed around all over the place. We managed between 5 and 6 knots through all that, surfing frequently to 7+ and once up to 10.2 knots! ( that's fast for a 29 footer, for you landlubbers reading this).
We got our first fish yesterday - but it was a flying fish about 4cm long and threw itself on to the boat. We think he probably failed his first solo.
I must stop now as this is so uncomfortable. Ron will Blog tomorrow.

Bye all
