Day 4 Noon  Thursday 26^th November

Well after all the hype about Benji and his several miles of fishing line, the boy delivered on his promise and landed a 34 inch Dorado. Also known as dolphin fish or mahi-mahi, it took about an hour to reel it in and we had to slow the boat to almost a standstill to give him a chance. Within 2 hours of getting it on board it was gutted, seasoned , cooked and eaten by a very appreciative crew.

Despite all of that we had our best day yet for mileage, racking up 158 miles of which 96% were in the right direction. Good old whisker pole – the long trip on the roof of the Volvo out to Greece is now paying off. After a slow start we are finally starting to move up the fleet. All well on board and Tyara washed her hair today !
