Day 2  Noon Tuesday 24^th November

We had a fantastic dolphin show last night. At least a dozen of the smaller variety that we last saw when approaching Gibraltar. They were all round the boat. This species doesn’t just jump out of the water but seems to delight in doing somersaults. They even surf down the long swell.

The swell dropped off a bit last night which made sleeping a bit easier for everyone. The wind dropped off during the night but we still managed 140 miles in the 24 hour period. If the wind is going to stay light we need to hoist the big downwind sail. More about that tomorrow. Crew all tired but well and finding their sea legs. Boat behaving nicely.
