So far, so good, Arthur duly arrived at the marina on time and having had a good flight, we got him settled in, went and ompleted our shopping and all went out for a nice and not too expensive meal in the evening. We cleared out of the marina this morning, the bill was about £155 for the two nights, not as bad as I was expecting and they gave us a very nice picture of the bay before the Marina was built and a key ring, together with much smiling and hoping to see us again, they then told us 'no gasoleo, all finished up' which was a bit of a blow, however, we have enough to get to Sardinia, so just hope we can fill up there. We set off at 0930 and motored for the first hour os so over a glassy sea, surprisingly, as we cleared the island, a Northerly breeze sprang up and we sailed for 6 or 7 hours at a healthy 7 knots, the wind dying with the sun, we are now motor sailing with a northery force 2 and it is 0100. All going very well and much easier with 3 of us, doing 4 hour watches through the day and 3 hour at night, Muggins is taking the ever unpopular midnight to 3 in the morning one, only fair I suppose!! Hoping to reach Sardinia this evening around 1900, then a nights sleep and fuel up the next day and off to Menorca, another couple of hundred miles. Both Carol and I are still not sure whether to sell or refit, I think we may be ready to sell up now though, missing the comforts of home, must be getting old!!
