Had an interesting night in Bolovisce on the island of Brac, a stunningly beautiful inlet and a small quay and village, went for supper at the local grill, no menu, just meat or fish and vegetables, local wine and no price list, big mistake, never again, get a price because we had some ok but not great wine , some ok but not great fish and a bowl of sloppy potatoes and courgettes, poor Carol only had the sloppy veg and Rufus is 5 so doesn't eat much, the bill? £100, not really fair, but our mistake. We got back to the boat to find that someone had left a tap on and our 300 litres of water were in the ocean, we didn't have a drop!, next morning I filled our 25 litre can at the quay a couple of times for tea and breakfast use and we shot off at 1000, after a chat with some friends on 'Froggy' who told us they and everyone else were approached by a couple of lads the evening before demanding money for anchoring in the harbour, they refuded, quite rightly, and were told the police would be informed, nothing further occurred and it is obvious that the lads were trying it on, apparently a lot of boats paid up though. We hopped across to Stomorska on the Island of Solta and tied up to the Quay for an hour and filled with water and a quick charge of power, did some shopping and the harbour master charged us nothing, nice. Lovely afternoon and night in Neculjam at anchor with the kids all swimming madly and getting Rufus really keen on snorkelling. Off to Martina Kastela in the morning for 'changeover day'!!
