Well, the wind went to nothing and we motored for about 14 hours over a calming sea, passed the South West tip of Europe, Cape St Vicente around 0400, the massive cliffs just visible in outline against a paling sky. We arrived back in Portimao at 1100 and were allocated a berth. So, thats it!The end of a voyage that has taken nearly 18 months, covering the Western Meditteranean, Madiera, The Canary Islands, The Carribean, Windward and Leeward Islands, Bermuda and The Azores. It is all a bit strange now. I am not sure I want to go back to living in a house in England with its restrictions, comforts, weather and routine. We will give it a try. Joe and Karyn are staying with us another couple of days before flying off to their new life in England where they will be running a dive Centre, they started as relative strangers , now, after about 6 weeks, we are all firm friends, they have been an enormous help and we have had so many laughs together, we sure are going to miss them.

Thank you, everyone who has been reading our 'blog' I hope you have enjoyed it and it has stopped you worrying about us too much. Greetings and kind regards to Joe and Karyns' families, I don't know you but I feel as if I do, Joe and Karyn have told c Carol and I so much about you during the countless hours we have been together on our litttle boat. Thanks to all Carol and my freinds and families too, to know someone is looking at the blog, makes me keep it up, even when not much was happening! Thats it, ......over.....strange! Good Bye.And Love from

Chris, Carol, Joe and Karyn
