After the windy, sleep deprived night, we finally arose to a sunny morning with a moderate breeze. Carol really wanted to snorkel a nearby island that was not possible yesterday, so off we went in our lovely new dinghy and she had a great snorkel and I had a great row! it was still a bit choppy so I didn't snorkel but acted as boatman. We left after lunch for the 12 mile sail to Primosten, a pretty looking litle town built on an island with just a causeway linking it to the mainland. Had a fab sail and arrived around 1700 to find all the buoys were taken, so anchored off the shore in 6 metres of boulders and it blew! Rough and horrid, as we were sitting wondering whether we had the energy to move, a hobbie cat ( tiny fast catamaran) came uncomfortably close, out of control, and hit us! twice! Well, I was not best pleased and asked them if they could use another part of the ocean, anyway, shorftly afterwards they capsized, I went in the dinghy and offered them a tow as nobody else seemed bothered, they said no, but the girl did actually apologise for hitting us earlier. We left that horrid place and motored in choppy seas around to this fab place, Rogiznica, completely sheltered anchorage, bliss, anchored next to a super yacht with all the toys, quiet supper, bottle of wine, scrabble in a minute and bed, another day of highs and lows, thats boating I guess.
