Good weather for motorboating! No wind, flat sea, blue sky and getting hot. Motored for another 10 hours yesterday, caught a 5 foot long swordfish, best fish I ever caught, got it aboard after a half hour fight and then managed to get the hook out of his mouth and let him go, just too beautiful to kill and I couldn't have eaten all of him, we thought he was done for when he just floated on the surface, then he sort of shook himself and swam off, apparently just exhausted, so, a fine and noble fish, hope he doesn't curse me too much! Filled up with anothe 150 litres of diesel at an astronomical 1.24 euros a litre, spent the night at anchor off a sandy beach, swam in the beautifully clear and warm water and went for early bed. Not much inthe way of marinas along this coast, mainly little fishing harbours and what marinas there are are full to capacity. Hoping to make anoth 50 miles today if Mrs J ever wakes up!!
