The weather got worse again and we fought hard to reach Mahon, the wind and waves beat us about all over the place and at time our speed was down to 1.9 knots, so frustrating, however, we eventually arrived in Mahon at about 2230 and tied up to a pontoon, celebrated our arrival with a g and t and went to bed. This morning we fueled up and came to our favourite 'square' pontoon, a platform giving room for 15 or 20 boats to moor stern to all around the 4 sides of the square, in the middle is a hole with steps, a kind of swimming pool, power and water laid on, we call it Albert Square and have had many a happy barbecue here in the past, Arthur has found some nice french friends, so, weather permitting, we are having a tuna barbie tonight, we are providing the tuna and they, from Bordeaux, are providing the wine! However, at present it is 1530 and it is pouring with rain, so we shall have to see.Chris
