Becalmed yesterday; better winds overnight; now light again but making progress. Two-day run was 148 miles. Fuller details tomorrow.

Yesterday a memorial was held in St Albans for George Halahan. Charlie and Richard had expected to be there but the various delays that we’ve encountered meant that it wasn’t possible. Instead, we thought and talked about George and his pleasure in our adventure. We heard this morning that it was a wonderful event, with laughter as well as sadness, and a superb tribute to George from his son Tom.
