Best ever..............

Neroli rushing westwards.

Neroli logged her best noon day run since leaving Las Palmas. By mid-day today she had logged 161 nm and we are still cracking along at 6 - 7 kn, now with a spinnaker up as the wind has veered E F4. The wind went a little lighter last night after a wonderful sunset but Neroli kept ploughing on.

Tropical sunset.

We promised to report more on the cinema extravaganza offered by the skipper yesterday as his 'surprise'. It proved to be a memorable evening. At sunset we enjoyed Kier Royale made with the best Moet, Foi Gras and smoked salmon on home made ciabatta bread. After sunset we were invited below by our 'usherette' for hot dogs with onions. With cinematic 'surround sound' we watched Pirates if the Caribbean and were served with choc ices on a stick during the interval. Somehow our intrepid captain managed to keep watch, run the film, provide refreshments and cook our supper all at the same time. Were there any complaints? Not really although Graham and Henry thought the usherettes uniform was rather disappointing and perhaps he film was not the best choice for a boat load of scaredy cats heading for the Caribbean!
As this is bashed out we are 740 miles from St Lucia and still making over 7 kn. We have lost two good fish today which is sad but the weather outlook seems reasonably good.
