Newcastle to Coffs
Harbour : 27th April 2010
This fishing boat off
Port Stephens has plenty of bait to attract such a numerous assortment of sea
birds!
Our first night at sea gives us a splendid sunset behind the Eastern
Dividing Range
Entering Coffs Harbour
past Mutton Bird island, where the birds nest in holes all over the hill

Gerry Bloomfield Brown, who helped her husband Chris look after
Kanaloa for the 30 months we’ve been away works in Coffs Harbour
teaches French to Private School students. The bike is not only her
only method of getting about, but also her main hobby! She and Chris do
lots of cycle racing together now.
The beach close to the marina, is very attractive in such a lovely
sweeping bay.
Leaving Coffs Harbour early morning, with the moon just setting
