We have reached the halfway point, as the crow flies, from Las Palmas to
Antigua.

Champagne (popped by Ian) and soft drinks opened for crew to toast the
milestone. Enhorabuena a todos, en el barco y afuera.

Flying fish attempted to join by flopping onto the deck, brusquely ejected
by our resident bouncer Stuart.
Water and rations in satisfactory state but creativity of Manu and Sarah on
meal decisions is being called into action. Worryingly, jelly baby rations
at all-time low.

After over a week of intensive lessons Manu has nearly finished the Spanish
cursing curriculum with Raymond. Sarah putting gusto into cleaning saloon
wooden floors while Manuela and Stuart do a polishing extravaganza on deck.

Spinnaker pole stowed with all hands helping - a team effort in sweltering
heat.

Still surprisingly little wildlife to be seen beyond the convivial flying
fish and unidentified birds.

Wind down very low, doldromesque as we motor on. Weather chart suggesting
some mild breeze tomorrow, so we enter the night with fingers crossed - our
thoughts consumed by isobars and wind speed predictions.
