End of Day 9 ......hardly a cycling day as we only had to go 40km from Aswan city to Aswan Dam to meet up with the ferry that will take us to Wadi Haifi in Sudan. Interesting but tiring day, as we had to do a lot of baggage loading and unloading, and emmigration procedures. Embarking the ferry has been a very interesting experience...fortunately we are sharing in two person cabins, away from the 2nd class communal sleeping area, or worse still the open deck. The ferry is probaby a 50m long, 3 level ship, and has every bit of space onboard it utilised. People and their luggage lying around everywhere.

Arrive at Wadi Haifi around 11am tomorrow...and apparently immigration procedures will occupy us for a lot of the rest of the day! So effectivley a rest day with Sudan cycling beginning in earnest on wednesday!
