Head - unfortunatley due to a slight error on the part of the helms woman
we managed to run aground just yards from the Savannah river. We were
stuck there for 3 hours - Tow Boat tried to pull us free but we were not
going anywhere - we had to wait for the tide. In the meantime more of the
tide went out and we ended up almost on our side - The rails were in the
water and we wern't moving. It was very disconcerting. When Tow Boat came
back and finally managed to get us back into some deep water we headed
back to Thunderboat Marina where we were stuck for 3 days until the
weather stopped raining.
