Dany II...another day closer to the Maldives...only
210 mi. to go...the weather & sea conditions have continued to improve since
yesterday, & today we were actually able to sit outside in the cockpit with
cushions...quite civilized!...as I mentioned earlier, we are also now seeing
more traffic as we get closer to the southern tip of India...lots of fishing
boats to zig zag thru last nite, but no problems...they would rather catch fish
than sail boats...a sooty tern hitch hiked on the bimini all last nite, not
departing until this morning, so it was nice to have some company...the
moon is now 3/4 full, making it quite bright for most of the night, something we
always look foreword to on a long passage...we also put out a fishing line
today, but nothing yet...oh well, still lots of food to eat in the fridge...in
fact, we are in danger of looking like the bean bags if we're not careful!...we
feel like we've been doing aerobics for the last week, but it's not really
enough to stay fit...we'll be looking foreword to doing some walking &
swimming when we get to Uligan...bye from Dany II & the couch
potatoes!
