FINALLY!   The voyages of Dany II get to continue, after such a long hiatus.   She didn't quite make it from Greece to Ireland in 2007, or even Portugal, which was the first fallback. And she has sat on the hard in Spain gathering dust since then.

But since I'm now committed to be in the Philippines for the next while, the only solution is to sail to sail her to Manila.

Friends Jack Kimble and Sandi Pearson (photo below) have graciously agreed to help with the task ... ok, deliver the damn boat ... as far as Langkawi, Malaysia.  They will bring her through the Med, Suez, Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Sri Lanka, and finally to Langkawi. If I can, I'll join up for a leg along the way.   I will then -- at some point -- get her to the Philippines.

Watch this space.   Entries from here on will be mostly from Jack and Sandi.

I love it when a Plan comes together.
