Dany II is sailing south in the Red Sea...wind
conditions have improved here & we've been sailing at about 6knts. for the
past 24hrs...we could sure use a bit of cloud cover!...something that dosn't
happen very often here unfortunately...meanwhile, we're going thru liters of
bottled water to stay hydrated, we're not happy about adding to the plastic
water bottle problem, but right now, we don't have any choice...most of the
water in Egypt was reverse osmosis water, but by the time it gets run thru their
old pipes, it looks & tastes terrible...we're starting to go thru books now
& we may reach the critical level by the time we reach Aden!...we just hope
there are some other yachties there when we arrive, so we can do a book
exchange...so far, dolphins have come to visit us everyday, & yesterday, we
had a small bird hitch a ride for a couple of hours, but other than that,
we've seen no other boats at all...it feels more like we're out in the ocean,
rather than just 25 mi. off the coast!...bye from Dany
