Smir is a small holiday resort no far away from Ceuta. It is not only visited by foreigners but many of different arab royal families. Some of them have their own holiday house(for us a palace)

Tetouan is the main city next to it and used to be Spanish Moroccan capital many decades ago. It has still a mix of both cultures which makes it more interesting.

Arrived late afternoon and first thing children did(include Miriam please) was to ride a Camel.

Next day we went to Tetouan Medina(old city) and the old own mkt, totally different to what we were used to. Many Houses  are from the 12th century.

Had lunch there( guess what?? yes, Couscous and Tajine)

Next day we left in the afternoon towards Almeria, Spain, 160nm ,about 24 hrs sailing.

After few hours sailing, got the best tuna of the trip!!!5kg +,stuffed again with fish for next 2 days!!!!
