This is a small Spanish/Basque fishing port.

Pleasant trip. This time only one tuna. Arrived by late afternoon.

No marina facilities so we had to berth alongside in the main harbour.

Not match to report except that we had to stay on board! no ladder access to shore and since wrong tide times best choice was to have supper onboard and go to sleep.

The place itself had no charms at all and the on/off fish smell of local factories did not help. Nevertheless after being watched by local citizens who never saw a large and modern boat as ours, the night went by.

We had help from a spanish skipper who helped a bit with mooring lines/etc and gave me a brief of next ports were to stopped.

We tried to be kind and offered our last tuna catch(marvellous 3 kgs fish) and guess??It was turned down…wonder why??????I guess more Japanese people are needed around here!!

Next morning we set off early heading to Bilbao.
