We arrived 0630 Tues 8^th June, over 830 miles in less than 8 days and anchored in the natural harbour of St George’s. Barada practically sailed herself and made a good pace – ‘reaching’ made the motion more comfortable and sleep and hunger were well attended to.

A British overseas territory, Bermuda is located in the north Atlantic Ocean 893 miles directly east of Charleston, South Carolina, and about 1100 miles northeast of Miami, Florida. It was first settled in 1609 by shipwrecked English settlers as they ventured across the Atlantic Ocean to the new Virginia Colony.
