We have covered approx 400nm to midday today, so now about half-way. The F4 did materialise yesterday evening around 5pm, but by 7pm had reached F5 so we reefed the sails well in for the night. Under a mixed starry/cloudy sky the wind gusted to F6 whilst Barada happily made way downwind at 4knots in a lively sea.
It is very lively in the cabin also 'crash-bang-creak', and making a cup of Tea is a balancing exercise which one rarely wins!
The F5 continues today with the sun shining down from a blue sky......
