You can tell that Kuki has arrived on board – the blog
is late. We completed cleaning the boat during the morning and left early for
the airport with a view to visiting the chandlery at Jolly Harbour
on the way and the hardware store to see what the dimensions of the fuel cans
were. It turned out that Helen had bought up the whole supply on the island of
the yellow coloured diesel cans but there are plenty of red ones which work
equally well if we decide to go down that route-we will see what the fit looks
like and make a decision next week. Kuki’s plane arrived on time and she
was clear out of the customs hall in half an hour and complaining about the
heat. We had a short tour of Shirley
Heights to orientate her
before heading down to the boat and getting her unpacked. We spent quite a lot
of time going through things on the boat and them up the David’s for
dinner and an early night for Kuki.
