Position at 2030 hrs. We are now 33 miles from the NE end of the Caicos Islands and will be tracking around the reefs from about 0200 tomorrow morning. Still no wind worth talking about so the poor old engine has been on duty all day. Without the wind it has also been very hot and Anita's tent has been in use from sunrise to sunset. We are now heading for Pine Cay on the western side of the islands so Charles can laze on a nice beach and go in search of eligible females. Getting to the Cay will be interesting as we will have to find our way through the reef in a small channel only marginally deeper than we are. On the other side there looks like a good anchorage and there is an old fort and some wrecks we can dive on close to it. That's at Fort George Cay just a little further north inside the reef than Pine Cay.We will also clean up the boat after the passage and do some housekeeping. Plan is to head to Turtle Cove to collect the new crew on Tuesday in the afternoon so we are braced for their arrival on Wednesday. Hopefully we will also be able to stock up with fuel, water and consumables whilst we are there.
