We completed the engine header tank assembly today
and will be able to test it tomorrow. Have finally found a worker called David
who is now helping with the clean up. Ordered Anita’s Rotli’s so
they are here to be frozen over the weekend. Serviced the navionics which are
now fine apart from the fault on the echo sounder transducer. The spare has
arrived from Portland
and once we have finished with the engine room we will run the tests on that.
Annoyingly, if it has to be replaced we will have to get the boat lifted our of
the water for a few hours to have this done. If we can’t get a slot for
the lift we may have to live without it for a month. Not the best in these
water but not the end of the world either. It is going to be tight getting all
this work done before the boss arrives on Sunday but we will be close. We will
have to go out to anchor on the way out of Falmouth so that we can re-rig the davits,
which have been removed for the berthing at the Cat Club and to stow the dinghy.
It will also give us time to clean up the anchor after it has been sitting in
the mud here for a few weeks.
