Are you on board with me Mrs Laxton? Could have done with your skills fitting curtain hooks – it’s very definitely at the bottom of my favorite jobs list. However its all done although a couple of the curtains have been marked whilst in storage and will have to be dry cleaned when there is the opportunity – so I guess there are more curtain hook experiences in the offing. Collected a car from Mr Big again so that I can do some shopping over the weekend – perhaps not a smart move as there will not be much open on Sunday by the time I get time. Food shopping should be OK though. Its amazing where the smoke has got to from the fire on the next boat and I suspect it will be some time before it is clear of all the deck fitting. A good storm and 20ft seas would probably fix it! Judging by the amount of weed on the waterline I will probably have to get the divers to do the cleaning – or it will have to wait until I can get out to anchor and can easily get around the boat.
