We have visitors ?, over to fort de France to pickup Terry and Clare.

We headed back to Fort de France - this time Martin and Sharon headed over as well. Once anchored we headed ashore and got the bus with them to go to shops. We chose to go to a big Carrefort to get some fresh provisions as well as some treats. we were a bit horrified when we got to the till and the lady got up to clean the till area that items go on once she has scanned them, I noticed when she left her seat lots of various size cockroaches came out from the till area and scurried around the food weigh scales 😱, when we pointed it out she said oh its normal😱,as soon as she returned to her seat they vanished. of course we know most, if not all supermarkets have cockroaches and have managed to avoid getting them on board so far🤞, but to see then so active during the day was a bit disconcerting and rather put me off going back there!
Terry and Clare arrived in the evening once on board they unpacked a few treasures they had brought with them and settled down for well earned drinks.
The following morning we headed ashore early to go to the local shop for some final bits and so they could see what was on offer locally. afterwards we headed back to the boat had something to eat and headed off across the bay again for a brief sail across the bay to Anse a l'Ane.
