We made the short trip to a little anchorage 2 miles south and stopped there, the beach was popular with swimmers but we were the only boat! Although a lady did swim out and tell us it was too dangerous to anchor there! We said it’s an anchorage on the charts and she said well we have turtles here🤷🏻♀️, I’m not sure what she thought was special about here and we didn’t see any turtles unlike Deshaies and every anchorage in Antigua we were in! We had a snorkel and where we anchored was sand 🤩, then off to find some fish but there was a reasonable amount of surge on the shore making it murky so we ended up cleaning the hull for a while.
