After a rolly night in Pinching bay we thought we would head to Deep Bay, which, used to be a great spot, recent reviews paint a different picture with lots of trip boats and jet-skis 😩. 

However is also a wreck we have snorkelled a couple of times which if the waters clear is a good place to see lots of fish so off we headed . 

Arriving at mid day the anchorage was quite busy, we anchored, did laundry which had been neglected for a while and settled in, yes the jetskis were irritating at times but it wasn’t until the evening when 4 or 5 locals decided to drive like madmen and women - they were actually mainly women 🙄 that it was annoying and potentially dangerous. 

The following day was quieter with fewer boat, trip boats and people hiring jet skis, although they were still idiots! 

Unfortunately it was windy so water wasn’t as clear as we hoped but we went for a snorkel around the wreck, visibility wasn’t good so no photos! We saw a good number of small fish,1 or 2 larger parrot fish but really if was only good where the ship is nearer the surface and dispite having a float we always mindful and wary of the jetskis while in the water. Normally we would have swam from the boat to the side of the bay and snorkelled along the edge as well but I would be too dangerous here!
