We headed back to Jolly to meet up with friends Mark and Karen ( from Vaiva) who are having a winter land holiday in a harboured property. They very kindly brought us some bits from UK including a small electric kettle 🤩.
We had a fantastic time, went out for a sail and ended up anchored in Hermitage bay for lunch, we went to their place to eat, generally pester them 😉 and steve picked them up a few times to come to us. All in all we had great time catching up, eating, drinking and chatting, I hope we didn’t take over their holiday too much 🫣.
Before we left there had been a storm further north off the coast of America which brought a nasty swell down to the northern Caribbean islands including Antigua and most of the bays were rolly and uncomfortable, in Jolly we tended to surge forward and back on the swell which is better then getting it on the side and rolling. It was however time to leave.
