Enough of the rolling and poor dinghy dock we decided to head to the next anchorage, not that we expected the rolling to be better but were ready for a different view!
It was all of 2 miles away so we made the short hop, once anchored we thought we would have a look ashore, dinghy dock was positively dangerous for the dinghy so I ran to get bread and a couple of bits while Steve looked after the dinghy to stop it getting caught under the dock with the swell!
Sonsy lass came round having been to check out another anchorage which may have been more protected- if it wasn’t full of local boats 😬.  A little later another boat, Arabella, came in and anchored near by, Andy and Heidi were having engine issues and so Steve popped over to see if we could help? They thought it was dirty fuel and had changed filter etc but engine was still cutting out after a short time! They are members of the Ocean Cruising club like we are, they had posted on the what’s app group that they wanted to find somewhere to polish their fuel
And Steve offered to take ours over the next day and see if we could get some of the debris out of it.
The following morning Steve went over to Arabella and was gone for ages, he popped back for something to eat and then we both went over, Andy wanted to clean the fuel as much as possible so in the end we were there till gone 5pm! The fuel was cleaner, it hadn’t been that dirty compared to Tom and Sabrina’s, but had definitely got a bit of fuel bug! They were leaving the following day so we hoped we had made a difference!
Meanwhile Sonsy lass had gone down to an anchorage near Basse Terre, the islands capital city so we planned to follow them the next morning.
