We had another nice sail back to Falmouth and anchored off Pigeon beach again. there was swell bouncing off the entrance and making the anchorage roll at times , we went ashore a couple of times and got on slowly with the  dinghy chaps sewing!
They are getting there!
Need Velcro and hemming still, I looking at other dinghy chaps I realised I’m making it harder than it need be 🫣, I was loosely following a friends dinghy’s design but realise if I had made a couple of more panels in the bow section rather than try and add pleats or infills it would have been a lot simpler and probably looked better!

The first multi hulls and the first monohull
RORC transatlantic race 2026 finished, steve saw the mono coming in we didn’t see and of the multihulls arrive, the fastest  crossed from Lanzarote in the Canaries in 4 days where as the monohull a maxi with foils crossed in 6 days
We  were planning to head up to Jolly and check out (our cruising permit runs out on 23/01) but we got a message from friends saying they had rented a property in Jolly Harbour for a week at the end of the month if we were around! So we decided to only stay a couple of days then go and see how easy it is (or isn’t)  to extend our cruising permit, before we left we had a nice evening with Sam and Kelda who are both working in one of the yards for a couple of months.
