Anchorage near Basse Terre

We sailed down to catch up with Martin and Sharon in their very rolly anchorage 🤪. After settling in, they headed over and picked us up in their dinghy so we could all go ashore for a walk to Basse Terre.
The town is Guadeloupe’s capital city, so we expect it not to be quite as run down as it was, but we had fun, went to the market, few shops and after sitting outside a shop in the shade for a while we found a bar/restaurant for lunch.
There were a few murals depicting marine pollution, this turtle has plastic around it!
