Erasmos is almost halfway to the Canary
Islands. Last night we passed Casablanca 90 miles to the east. We
debated about stopping into Ricks Bar for a drink, but it was to smokey.
The seas are moderately high with the swells in the 3-6 meter range and the wind
gusting up to 27 knots. We are making good progress averaging 5 knots
under shortened sail. Crew are healthy and doing well, sleep
is not the easiest with the boat bouncing around but we are getting used to
it.
