Erasmos has a new crew. After spending a few
days in Gibraltar trying to get a moorage we relized it was a futile
jesture. We did some sightseeing and travelling around looking at
Gibraltar. We rented a car and on Monday October 26, Penny and I
drove off to Barcelona, leaving our faithful crew, cook , and all round man
friday, Tom to stay on the boat and look after things until his plans came
together. After 3 nights on the road and over 1100 km we arrived in Barcelona
and proceeded to see the city. On Oct 31, in the afternoon we picked up
Brian from the airport, then at 7:30 pm in came Dave from London. Next
moring at 06:50 Penny was off home. Dave, Brian and myself then set off
back to Gibraltar, and after almost 11 hours driving we arrived. Out
to Erasmos and settled in for the night. Today we did some chores, filled
up with fuel, water, and groceries. Then our final member, Andy , arrived
from London into Gibraltar. We are now ready to start the next phase of
our journey, from here to the Canary Islands. We hope to be there by the
10th, we will keep you informed.
