Sunday 14th May
Well, our first trip in the boat for 14 months and 12 days started at 0530 this morning.  Pauline had set her alarm for 0500 and we were up straight away - only to find that our next-door neighbours had crept away quietly already.  Apart from a couple of teething problems, the day went very well and we are now safely anchored in the small sheltered bay of Çivieniz Limani - 12 and a half hours after leaving Alanya Marina, doing the 72 Nautical Miles at an average speed of 5.76 knots, mostly motor sailing.  On the way we saw both Dolphins and Flying Fish - but only one seabird.  We plan to stay here for a day or so, to soak-up the peace and quiet after leaving a busy marina, before moving on a little bit Westwards.
Monday Morning 15th May
4 other boats here with us in the anchorage this morning but by 1200 they had all gone, to be replaced by a tourist Gulet - luckily no music, which is unusual - perhaps it is an eco-tour(?).  Saw 2 turtles swimming into the bay quite close to us but they had dived by the time I had the camera.

The approach to Cineviz - you can just make out a yacht in the distance, about one mile away from us - it gives you an idea of the height of the mountains.

 The head of the anchorage.

 Looking back to the entrance.

Other yachts in the anchorage - just look at the mountains in the background.

  The "Eco-Gulet" - no loud music ! ! !
