Set high on an isolated, cliff-surrounded, table-top hill which rises straight out of the fertile river plain, Sillyon offers little in the way of monumental ruins.  Nevertheless, the views out over the surrounding plains give a real feel for the difficulties which would have faced a potential attacker.
