| After all the trouble getting the storm damage repaired, we had thought of renaming Forever Freedom, but have been told that it would be bad luck - just what we need! We are now back in the water at St. Raphael Marina and living back on board. We are waiting for a weather window to go to Alanya in Turkey but, unfortunately, the next week looks pretty bad with strong winds from the North and West up to 40 knots; we may have to stay here longer than anticipated which will, of course, cause difficulty with the marina who are short of berthing spaces. We had considered going to Israel - but again there are no spaces this late in the season. Also, our idea of perhaps catching up the Rally has proven a non-starter, again because of the weather both here and in the Gulf of Sinai. In water - weather on 1 Dec 09 - Sunny but strong winds Weather today - 5 Dec 09 - this is all coming our way! |
